Loloma Lodge is located in McKenzie Bridge, a small town situated in the Cascades between Eugene and Bend, OR. We have exclusive use of the entire 14-acre property from Friday at 4pm until Sunday at 11am. There is ample space for car or tent camping, if that's your style, for $30/night. Bathroom/shower access is available.
The area is remote; if you're planning to stay the weekend, we recommend stocking up on snacks or other necessities in town before heading up. Cell service and WiFi are limited. See below for lodging options. If you're planning to stay off-site nearby, we encourage you to book ASAP since this is a popular town for tourists who return year after year.
Getting There
The closest major airport is in Portland, about 2.5-3 hour drive. Redmond Airport (near Bend) is about 1 hour and 20 minute drive. There is no public transportation to this part of Oregon; arriving by car is necessary. There is no Uber.

There are a limited number of lodging options in McKenzie Bridge. There are rentals available on AirBnB, in addition to the accommodations listed here:

Rafting
The Upper McKenzie River is one of a kind in the Cascades. The upper river is primarily supplied with water from springs and aquifers. Most of the water in the McKenzie has been underground for up to 7 years, thus offering water year round regardless of snow pack and rain. There are local outfitters that plan trips, like Horse Creek Outfitters and High Country Expeditions.
Hiking
The Willamette National Forest and Mount Washington Wilderness areas offer the world-famous McKenzie River National Recreation Trail, the scenic Blue Pool, and other incredible sections of the McKenzie River and mountain lakes. Here's a map of trails in the area.

Fishing
The Helfrich Family has built a boating and fishing tradition with over 80 years of experience on the McKenzie River and rivers of the northwest and that tradition continues today with Helfrich River Adventures. Helfrich features half-day family floats or full-blown multi-day catered fishing and hunting experiences.
Golf
Tokatee Golf Club offers an incredible mix of postcard vistas and championship golf. Designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson, this 18-hole course is golf in the rugged outdoors with straightforward holes that are enhanced by their views of distant mountains and their use of native ponds and streams. Tokatee Golf Club is easily walkable, with memorable holes that inspire by their aesthetics and reward in their strategic quality and is a 3-minute drive from Loloma.
